Wandsworth Town Hall Refurbishment Receives £3 Million Boost

Wandsworth Council's Finance Overview and Scrutiny Committee has approved a £3 million allocation towards the refurbishment of Wandsworth Town Hall. This funding is part of a revised General Fund Capital Programme aimed at securing the building's long-term future and providing efficient office space for council staff and services.

The project is expected to be self-financing through the release of surplus accommodation and capital receipts. The £3 million will enable the procurement of a multidisciplinary consultant team to develop proposals for a detailed business case.
