Two Hackney GP practices are facing lease terminations, prompting concerns for their registered patients who will be informed of the changes.
Dr. Zara Jojo-Park, Clinical Director for Neighbourhood Development at the Integrated Care Board, confirmed that discussions have been ongoing with the two practices located at Medina Road premises and the building owner regarding alternative accommodation. The Dalston Practice, in particular, is actively engaged in these conversations with the building owner to find suitable new premises.
The Integrated Care Board has advised the practices to issue patient communications as soon as possible. To ensure timely notification, the Board will be implementing specific timeframes.
