Enfield Council is seeking to fill two Director of Finance positions, one for Director of Finance - Corporate and another for Director of Finance - Capital & Commercial, according to documents from a Staff Appeals, Appointment and Remuneration Committee meeting held on 16 July 2025.
The committee convened to conduct final stage interviews for these roles. According to the Public Reports Pack, attendees were asked to bring candidate packs to the meeting, and were to be provided with documents to score and record notes on each candidate.
The Agenda Frontsheet indicates that the latter portion of the meeting, dedicated to the interviews, was closed to the press and public due to the anticipated discussion of exempt information, specifically data pertaining to individual candidates, as outlined in the Local Government Act 1972.
