Redbridge Council is set to review the Area SEND Inspection of Redbridge Local Area Partnership, according to the agenda for the Overview and Scrutiny Committee meeting on 14 July 2025.
The council has a statutory duty to ensure that children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) receive the support they need to thrive. The review will examine specific aspects of the Local Offer, which details the support available for children and young people with SEND in Redbridge.
The Overview and Scrutiny Committee will review the executive reports, including the SEND Cabinet Report - July 2025 and the SEND Equality-impact-assessment, in advance of their consideration by the cabinet on 17 July 2025.
