The Cabinet approved £0.5 million in additional capital funding for the Soho Theatre project due to the extended timelines to complete works, which were originally slated for September 2024 to March 2025. An additional amount not exceeding £0.3 million, funded from capital contingency, was also approved for fit-out works on Unit C of the theatre. These fit-out works include ducting and electrical upgrades. According to the council, this will enable the unit to be let on a commercial basis.
