Hillingdon Council is seeking public input on its updated draft Statement of Licensing Policy, which was discussed at a Cabinet meeting on Thursday, 18 September 2025. The consultation aims to gather feedback to refine the policy before it is finalized.

The Council is required to review its Statement of Licensing Policy every five years, and the current policy, adopted in January 2021, is due for review before it expires in January 2026. The current licensing policy was adopted by Full Council in January 2021 and is therefore due for review, and subsequent approval by January 2026, before it expires.

The Cabinet approved a public consultation on the draft statement, with a further report to be submitted post-consultation, highlighting the responses for inclusion in the final policies. The final policies will then be submitted to Full Council for approval in due course.
