Lewisham Pension Fund is gearing up for the launch of the Pension Dashboard, with preparations on track for the statutory staging date of 31 October 2025. However, the new dashboard is not expected to go live until 31 October 2026.
One challenge the fund faces is the need to upgrade its pension software before completing phase 2 of the Dashboard Integrated Service Provider (ISP) project, according to minutes from the 16 June 2025 meeting.
The update was provided at a Pension Board meeting held on 23 September 2025.
As part of a general update, the board noted several ongoing projects managed by the pension administration team, including the Pension Dashboard Integrated Service Provider (ISP). Phase 2 of the ISP project kicked off on 11 September 2025, with the aim of completing the work in time for the Lewisham Pension Fund staging date of 31 October 2025.
Other key updates from the meeting included ongoing work on a Data Cleansing Tool, which had highlighted cases where a deferred benefit member died some years ago, and the team was trying to establish a process to trace the next of kin. The team also aimed to have a Data Improvement Plan completed by the December 2025 pensions board.
