Waltham Forest Pension Fund is reviewing its investments in private markets, pension performance, and administration services, following discussions at the Pension Committee meeting on Wednesday, 24 September 2025.

The committee received a verbal report from Mercer, a global consulting firm, on private markets. The agenda for the meeting included a presentation from Mercer on private markets, as well as updates on pension administration services and pension performance.

The committee also received an update on pension performance, detailed in the Pension Expenses and Performance Report September 25.

Updates on pension administration services were also provided, with reference to the Administration Report September 25 and Service Performance Statistics Q1 June 25.

The committee may have resolved to exclude the press and public from the remainder of the meeting, as is allowed in accordance with Section 100(A) of the Local Government Act. This measure is taken if the discussion of certain items would disclose exempt information as defined in paragraph 3 of Schedule 12A to the Local Government Act 1972, relating to sensitive or confidential matters.
