Bromley Council is trialling new technology in its Adult Social Care Service, including Intelligent Lilli and Magic Notes, as part of a broader effort to improve service delivery and support residents in their own homes.
The initiative was highlighted during a meeting of the Executive, Resources and Contracts Policy Development and Scrutiny Committee on 9 October 2025, where members reviewed progress on corporate priorities and innovative ways of working within the Adult Social Care Service.
A key component of this effort is the Adult Services Front Door, launched in May, which allows initial responses to be safer and timelier, and supporting more people to remain in their own homes,
according to the Scrutiny of the Chief Executive - October 2025 report.
Beyond Intelligent Lilli and Magic Notes, the council is also progressing neighbourhood working, which brings together care, health, and voluntary sector partners to support more joined-up and preventative interventions for residents. In April, the council commissioned a new Bromley Mental Health and Wellbeing Hub with the Integrated Care Board (ICB). This multi-agency service provides a wide range of support for adults to manage their mental health. The council is also working with landlords to provide new Extra Care Housing Schemes, reducing sole reliance on care homes.
