Hounslow Council has recovered £35,000 following a breach of a Planning Enforcement Order, according to the Audit and Investigation Performance Report Q1 presented at the Audit and Governance Committee meeting on Tuesday, 4 November 2025.
The funds were secured through a Confiscation Order, using powers available under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002. The Audit and Investigation Performance Report Q1 details the recovery. When paid, the recovered funds will be shared between the public purse, with a proportion allocated to Hounslow Council.
The Audit and Governance Committee convened to discuss a range of issues, including risk management, treasury management, and audit performance. Councillor Unsa Chaudri, Chair, Councillors Farah Kamran, Max Mosley, John Todd and Emma Yates, Ilva Foteina and John Turnbull were scheduled to attend the meeting.
