Weight limit approved for Rhodrons Ave despite objections

Kingston upon Thames Council has approved a 3.5-tonne weight restriction for Rhodrons Avenue, despite receiving objections. The decision was made at the South of the Borough Neighbourhood Committee meeting on Wednesday, 5 November 2025.

The committee reviewed the Decisions Progress Update which included the Rhodrons Avenue weight restriction. According to the update, a Traffic Management Order (TMO) was published, leading to several objections. However, the director and chair will set aside these objections and proceed with the scheme.

Residents will be informed of the decision via letter. A review of the impact on surrounding roads will be conducted after 12 months and brought back to the committee.
