The Brent Pension Board met on Thursday, 6 November 2025, to discuss the engagement activities undertaken by the Local Authority Pension Fund Forum (LAPFF) on behalf of the Fund.
The board received an update on LAPFF's engagement efforts, as detailed in the LAPFF Engagement Report June Q2 2025. The report pack includes the LAPFF Engagement Report June Q2 2025. The LAPFF is a membership organisation that promotes responsible investment and good corporate governance on behalf of local authority pension funds in the UK.
Attendees included David Ewart (Independent Chair), Councillor Sandra Kabir, Councillor Tazi Smith, Bola George (Member representative), Chris Bala (Pension Scheme Members Representative), Robert Wheeler (GMB Trade Union), Harry Ellis, and James Kinsella.
