Plans for an expansion of Brampton Manor Academy in East Ham have been approved by Newham Council's Strategic Development Committee.

The committee granted full planning permission for the partial demolition of the existing 6th Form building and the construction of a part two-storey, part three-storey structure arranged around a central courtyard at Brampton Manor Academy, Roman Road, East Ham, London, E6 3SQ.

According to the Brampton School document, the proposed building would feature updated and modernised classrooms, providing additional and larger spaces to enhance flexibility and improve learning environments. A larger common room is also included in the design, which would serve as the social hub for the 6th Form facility and would also incorporate a connected study centre.
