Bromley Council is set to review its teacher pay policy for centrally based staff for the 2025/26 academic year. This policy applies to teachers who are employed directly by the council, rather than by individual schools.
The review will be conducted by the General Purposes and Licensing Committee at its meeting on 12 November 2025, according to the meeting agenda.
The Teacher Pay Report will be presented to the committee and is expected to include details on pay scales and progression, allowances and benefits, performance-related pay, and the application of national pay awards.
Other items on the agenda include the Code of Corporate Governance, appointment to the Rights of Way Sub-Committee, the work programme, and minutes from previous Licensing Sub-Committee meetings.
