The Learning Disability Strategy aims to provide support and services early to prevent the development of learning disabilities or mitigate their impact. Specifically, the strategy focuses on providing support and services to children and families as early as possible to prevent the development of learning disabilities or to mitigate their impact. It also seeks to ensure access to high-quality education and training, and to support employment opportunities. The strategy further addresses providing a range of housing options and support services to enable people with learning disabilities to live as independently as possible, access to healthcare for physical and mental well-being, and the inclusion of people with learning disabilities in all aspects of community life.
