Tower Hamlets venues have been granted an extension to their licensing decision deadline, giving them more time to prepare their applications. The Licensing Sub Committee has agreed to extend the decision deadline for several premises licence applications to 31 March 2026.

The extension allows the sub-committee more time to consider the applications, given the volume requiring a hearing. This ensures each application receives due consideration, balancing the needs of local businesses and residents.

The decision was made at a meeting on Thursday 13 November 2025, as noted in the meeting minutes available on the opencouncil.network.
