Kingston upon Thames is set to trial new speed reduction measures in areas identified as having problems with speeding, following a review of traffic data by the Kingston and North Kingston Neighbourhood Committee. These measures are a direct response to issues identified during the initial phase of implementing 20mph speed limits in the borough.
The committee considered a Prioritised Intervention - Speed Reduction in the Neighbourhood report, which presented traffic data and proposed measures to address speeding issues identified during the first phase of 20mph speed limit implementation. Supporting documents included Kingston and North Kingston ATC Locations and Speed Survey Results.
