Enfield Council has concluded its search for a new Director of Revenues & Transactional Services, following final stage interviews held on Monday, 24 November 2025.
The Staff Appeals, Appointment And Remuneration Committee convened to interview candidates for the key role. The Public Reports Pack indicated that councillors, including Tim Leaver (Deputy Leader of the Council / Cabinet Member for Finance and Procurement), Alev Cazimoglu (Cabinet Member for Health and Social Care), and Susan Erbil (Cabinet Member for Planning and Regulatory Services), were provided with candidate packs to assess and score each applicant.
According to the Agenda frontsheet, Councillors James Hockney and Julian Sampson were also in attendance.
Prior to the interviews, the committee considered a resolution to exclude the press and public from the meeting during discussions involving exempt information, specifically relating to individual candidate details, as defined in the Local Government Act 1972.
