Southwark Council is set to review crime and anti-social behaviour hotspots across the borough as part of its ongoing community safety efforts. The Environment, Community Safety and Engagement Scrutiny Commission will undertake the review, with initial discussions scheduled for their meeting on Wednesday, 26 November 2025.

The meeting, as outlined in the Agenda frontsheet, will address the Community Safety Review, including a cover report and presentation. The timeline for the review and the expected publication date of the findings were not specified in the initial announcement, but the meeting on the 26th will be a key step in the process.

The meeting was held at 160 Tooley Street and the agenda also included apologies for absence, urgent business notifications, and disclosure of interests. Councillors Esme Hicks, Graham Neale, Sabina Emmanuel, Hamish McCallum, David Parton, and Leo Pollak were among those in attendance.
