Battersea Park parkrun has marked its first anniversary with a celebration of community and fitness. According to the Battersea parkrun Year 1 Evaluation, the event saw 24,700 total participants complete the course, with 3,400 people running their first ever parkrun at Battersea Park. The event has also relied on the support of 873 volunteers. On average, 1,000 people attend the weekly event, with a fairly even split between male (55%) and female (45%) attendees. 6,100 people registered Battersea Park as their home parkrun during the first year.
