This motion, which recommended a revision of the Mercury Land Holdings business plan to focus on delivering affordable housing and driving down temporary accommodation costs once it reached its breakeven point, was carried by 40 votes to six. The agreement was made on the proviso that Mercury Land Holdings' business plans would be reviewed by the Places Overview and Scrutiny Committee the following week, and an emergency full council meeting would be scheduled if required.
