Lewisham Council is set to increase its Council Tax for the 2026/27 financial year, following a decision made at a recent Council meeting.

The Council Tax base for 2026/27 has been set at 93,758.1 Band D equivalent properties, with an assumed collection rate of 96.0%. This figure reflects an increase from the previous year's tax base, attributed to new homes coming into use. The current Council Tax Base stands at 92,585.3 Band D equivalent properties, also based on an assumed collection rate of 96.0%.¹
