Hammersmith and Fulham Council has confirmed a Dedicated Schools Grant (DSG) of £127.775 million for its schools in the 2026/27 financial year. This represents a 1.58% increase per pupil compared to the previous year.
The Schools Block funding, which is allocated to mainstream primary and secondary schools, has been confirmed by the Department for Education. The Schools Forum agreed on the model for distributing these funds on January 20, 2026, following a provisional agreement on funding factors in December.
Key decisions regarding the allocation of these funds were made by the Cabinet on February 9, 2026. These include approving the local authority formula for allocating resources to schools and adopting the National Funding Formula (NFF) transitional funding formula factor rates. De-delegated budgets for maintained mainstream schools and education functions budgets were also approved.
