Greenwich Council's Cabinet has agreed to adopt a new Planning Enforcement Plan, which will guide the council's approach to enforcing planning regulations.
The decision was made during a Cabinet meeting held on Wednesday, 18 February 2026. The plan itself is available as an appendix to the relevant report, alongside a consultation statement.
The adoption of this plan is part of the council's broader strategy to support its Development Plan Policies and align with the council's core themes and missions in 'Our Greenwich'. These themes are centred around People, Place, Economy, Communities, and Organisation.
The Planning Enforcement Plan aims to tackle breaches of planning control that could negatively impact the area, maintain the integrity of the decision-making process, and ensure public acceptance of the enforcement process.
More information on the plan can be found in the Adoption of the Planning Enforcement Plan
