Croydon is set to benefit from over £2 million in developer funds secured through Section 106 agreements, aimed at enhancing the borough's transport infrastructure and mitigating the impact of new developments. A separate report on Section 106 funding indicated a total of just over £2 million.

Most of these developer contributions are designated for mitigating the impacts of developments, with a portion allocated to electric vehicle charging points. Contributions are also earmarked for improvements to railway stations.
Specifically, upgrades are planned for East Croydon, West Croydon, and Reedham stations. At West Croydon station, lifts will be installed to the overground platforms. For all three stations, funds are earmarked for general accessibility and capacity enhancements.

Legal discussions are also underway regarding a link bridge at East Croydon station. Significant legal discussions are ongoing between Network Rail, Croydon Council, and a developer. The legal agreements were expected to be signed off shortly.

Further details on Section 106 funding and related projects can be found in the Public reports pack.
