Hackney Council's Cabinet Procurement and Insourcing Committee has approved the direct award of a contract for a new Human Resources Information and Payroll System (HRIS) for council staff. The decision was made during a meeting held on Monday, March 2, 2026.
The new system will be provided by a vendor referred to as Supplier 1
and will be hosted and maintained via the KCS Framework for an initial three-year term, with an option for a further two-year extension. This move is considered a key decision for the council, aimed at streamlining HR and payroll processes.
