Hillingdon Council Appoints New Interim Head of HR

Hillingdon Council has appointed Peta Newlin as its new interim Head of Human Resources.

The decision was made during a meeting of the Appointments Committee on Wednesday, 11 March 2026. The committee, chaired by Councillor Ian Edwards, also included Councillor Jonathan Bianco and Councillor Stuart Mathers. Lloyd White, Head of Democratic Services, was also in attendance.

The appointment was made during a private session of the meeting, as the agenda item was considered in Part II, which typically deals with confidential matters. No declarations of interest were made by the councillors present.

The meeting took place at the Leader's Office in the Civic Centre, Uxbridge.
