Redbridge's success is underpinned by a range of initiatives. The borough's Connexions Team employs various strategies to support vulnerable young people, including referral pathways from schools, targeted work with specific groups such as those in the youth justice system and children looked after, and support for asylum seekers and refugees. Personal Advisers manage caseloads of young people not in education, employment, or training (NEET), providing regular support and guidance. The team also collaborates with educational providers and stakeholders to identify gaps in provision and supports the National Careers Strategy. Cooperation from schools, academies, and training providers in sharing student data is crucial for effective resource allocation.

Disadvantaged pupils and those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) support continued to outperform national and regional averages across all key stages, with narrowing attainment gaps. At GCSE level, disadvantaged students and those with SEN support continued to outperform national and regional averages. For A-levels, Redbridge students with SEN Support ranked 14th to 16th nationally, outperforming national and regional averages in all headline measures.
