The Kingston upon Thames Licensing Committee has established its sub-committees for the upcoming municipal year. The decision was made during a brief meeting held immediately after the Annual Council meeting on Thursday, May 21, 2026.
Apologies were received from Councillor Jane Lim, who was attending to Deputy Mayor duties. The minutes from the previous Licensing Committee meeting on February 10, 2026, were approved, along with the minutes of all subsequent licensing sub-committee meetings.
The committee confirmed the continuation of its usual arrangements for the formation and sharing of licensing sub-committees. A specific licensing sub-committee meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 26.
Councillor Lesley Heap volunteered as an alternate member for the upcoming sub-committee meeting. It was confirmed that all volunteers for the sub-committee had completed the necessary licensing training.
