Waltham Forest Council has agreed to merge its Budget Scrutiny Committee with the Scrutiny Coordinating Committee, a move that will take effect from the Annual General Meeting in May 2026.

The decision was made during a full Council meeting held on Thursday, 21 May 2026. The merger aims to streamline the council's scrutiny functions.

Authority has been delegated to the Corporate Director of Governance and Law to make the necessary amendments to the Council's Constitution to reflect this change.
