Islington Council's Corporate Resources and Economy Scrutiny Committee is set to review the borough's financial performance for the 2024-25 financial year at its meeting on 3 July 2025.
The Budget Outturn Report 2024-25 will be presented to the committee, offering a detailed summary of the council's financial standing against its approved budget. The report includes appendices that break down key variances, revenue by service area, and the progress of agreed savings initiatives.
In addition to the budget review, the committee, chaired by Councillor Nick Wayne, will also discuss the Annual Complaints Report, which provides an overview of complaints received by the council, including the number, types, and resolution methods. The Corporate Performance Report Q4 2024-25 will also be discussed, providing an update on the council's performance against its key performance indicators, including a corporate performance scorecard.
