Lewisham Council's Overview and Scrutiny Committee has agreed to review the Renters' Rights Act and issues surrounding its implementation.
The Renters' Rights Act was already considered in June, with the committee looking at its implementation and monitoring by the Council. This review comes as part of a broader effort by Lewisham Council to scrutinise housing provision and maintenance across council housing, housing associations, and the private rented sector. The committee will also examine landlord performance and tenant satisfaction measures.
