The government awarded £770,000 to a Greater London Authority (GLA) consortium, which includes Haringey, to conduct a strategic Green Belt Review. While the meeting information confirms Haringey's participation in the GLA-led consortium, the other boroughs involved were not specified.

Land Use Consultants (LUC) have been appointed as the lead consultant for the Green Belt Review, with support from WeMadeThat and Douglas Edwards KC. Haringey officers are participating in the project steering group, providing input on the work's methodology.

The Strategic Planning Committee met on Monday 7 July 2025, at George Meehan House to discuss the funding and planning updates. The agenda included updates on planning and building control, the Haringey Authority Monitoring Report, and the Haringey Infrastructure Funding Statement.
