The UK's long-awaited pension dashboard, designed to provide individuals with a consolidated view of all their retirement savings, is on track for a summer 2027 launch.
The initiative aims to simplify pension management for individuals by bringing together state pension information and private pension pots into a single online portal. The meeting information does not mention any costs associated with accessing or using the pension dashboard for individuals.
John Smith, Pensions Manager for Brent Council, explained that while the government is developing its own dashboard, other private dashboards may also emerge. He assured that the Local Pensions Partnership Administration (LPPA), which handles Brent's pension administration, has connected to the necessary systems and is progressing with the project.
Chris Spatz, Head of Client Services for LPPA, elaborated on the timeline, estimating a summer 2027 go-live for members. He noted that LPPA has a minimum of six months' notice before the live date, allowing ample time for preparation, including ensuring data quality and establishing secure user authentication.
