Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND)
A legal framework and set of provisions for children and young people aged 0-25 who have learning difficulties or disabilities that make it harder for them to learn than most children or young people of the same age. A term referring to the diverse needs of children and young people who require additional support in their education due to learning difficulties or disabilities affecting their ability to learn.
