Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC)

A pathway that provides care for various conditions and aims to prevent unnecessary admissions. A model of care that allows patients to be assessed, treated, and discharged on the same day, avoiding overnight hospital admission. A project involving the use of Same Day Emergency Care areas at Whipps Cross University Hospital.
