Local Council Tax Reduction Scheme

A scheme to reduce the amount of Council Tax payable by eligible individuals or households. This is also known as the Local Council Tax Reduction Scheme, a scheme administered by local authorities in the UK to reduce the Council Tax liability for low-income households.
