Plans for a rear extension at 21 Thorpebank Road in Wormholt, Hammersmith and Fulham, have drawn objections from neighbours, raising concerns about the project's scale and character. Neighbours are worried that the development would be unprecedented and out of character, and would cause loss of light and overshadowing.
The application, submitted by Mrs Alsuwaidi & Silva, seeks permission for a rear roof extension, a single-storey rear extension (replacing an existing lean-to), three rooflights in the front roof slope, and a new door on the rear elevation. The matter was discussed at the Hammersmith and Fulham Planning and Development Control Committee meeting on Wednesday 30 July 2025.
