Brent Council is set to review the number and impact of gambling establishments in the town centre, signalling a potential shift towards stricter regulations. The Resources and Public Realm Scrutiny Committee discussed the issue as part of a broader review of the Brent local plan at a meeting on Tuesday 02 September 2025.
Councillor Liz Dixon raised concerns about the over-concentration of gambling establishments and asked how the council will update policies to manage this. Jerry, whose last name was not provided, responded that the council wants to take a more robust line on it.
