Camden Council has restructured its Home Ownership Team, according to a report presented at the Leaseholders' Forum meeting on 23 September 2025. The council aims to improve services for leaseholders in the borough through these changes.

The Leaseholders Services CLF Report 23 September 2025 detailed the changes, noting that a new Home Ownership Manager has been in place since April 2025. The report also addresses key issues for leaseholders, including lease extensions, service charges, and the Leaseholder Handbook.

The Leasehold Services team is working to ensure service charges are accurate and transparent, and is also addressing a backlog of lease extension applications. Clear and effective communication with leaseholders is also a priority.

According to the Leaseholders Services CLF Report 23 September 2025, the Leasehold Services team is also updating the Leaseholder Handbook, which is expected to be available online by the end of September 2025. The Right to Buy scheme remains suspended in Camden.
