Potholes in Child's Hill have been addressed thanks to the diligent reporting of local councillors, Barnet Council has confirmed.
At a council meeting on Tuesday, Councillor Innocenti inquired about the high number of potholes fixed in Child's Hill compared to other wards, as noted in the Council Questions Final October 2025 document.
Councillor Schneiderman, Cabinet Member for Environment & Climate Change, responded by praising the efforts of Child's Hill councillors. He stated that their consistent reporting has led to swift repairs. Councillor Schneiderman noted that councillors in Child's Hill are very diligently going around reporting lots, lots of potholes
. He also highlighted the council's investment in preventative measures, including resurfacing roads and pavements, to ensure long-lasting solutions.

He added that the council is investing £97 million in roads and pavements across the borough to prevent potholes from forming in the first place.
