Hundreds of counterfeit Labubu dolls have been seized from retailers in Bexley due to safety concerns, Trading Standards has revealed.
The dolls, popular among children, were found to be a safety hazard because they do not comply with Toy Safety Regulations, posing a potential hazard to young children. Trading Standards officers are actively seizing these counterfeit dolls from retailers across the borough, with seizures reaching up to 1,000 dolls in some premises.
The Bexley Council Licensing Committee received an update on the seizures during their meeting on 21 October 2025, as part of a broader Licensing Enforcement Update.
