Council Asked About Future of Greenwich Equestrian Centre

Greenwich Council is considering the future of the Greenwich Equestrian Centre following a meeting on Wednesday 29 October 2025, where the topic was raised during a council meeting. The council is consulting with interested parties to determine the best path forward for the site.

Councillor Charlie Davis, Deputy Leader of the Opposition, questioned Councillor Majid Rahman, Cabinet Member Planning, Estate Renewal and Development, about the Equestrian Centre. Mr. Davis inquired about the meeting between the council and interested community parties and the timeline for a decision regarding the site's future.

Councillor Rahman confirmed that council officers and he had a productive meeting at the former Equestrian Centre with members of the Save Greenwich Equestrian Community Group on 6 October. He stated that conversations would continue with them and other interested parties.
