Islington Council has reviewed and responded to the Health, Wellbeing and Adult Social Care Scrutiny Committee's report on Adult Social Care (ASC) accommodation. The Executive is scheduled to welcome the findings of the review.
The Executive convened on 27 November 2025, to discuss the findings and recommendations outlined in the report. The council has agreed to act on the recommendations.
Councillor Dr Sara Hyde, Executive Member for Health and Social Care, was present at the meeting.
The Executive agreed to the following recommendations:
- Welcome the findings of the Health, Wellbeing and Adult Social Care Scrutiny Committee Review of Adult Social Care Accommodation.
- Agree the Executive responses to the recommendations of the Scrutiny Review, as set out in section 4 of the Response to Scrutiny Review of ASC Accommodation report.
- Agree that officers report back on progress to the Health, Wellbeing and Adult Social Care Scrutiny Committee at a time agreed with the Scrutiny Committee.
