Islington Council is set to review its General Fund Fees and Charges for the 2026/27 period, with a decision made at the Executive meeting on 27 November 2025.

The Executive approved the council’s Fees and Charges Policy, as outlined in section 3 of the General Fund Fees and Charges 2026-27 report.

The proposed General Fund Sales, Fees and Charges for 2026/27, detailed in Appendix A1-4, are set to take effect from 1 January 2026, or as otherwise stated for specific service areas.

Childcare fees, detailed in Appendix A4, were previously agreed by the Executive on 18 May 2023. While these fees are included in this review, the reason for their inclusion is not explicitly stated in the meeting documents, nor is it stated whether further changes are anticipated.

Authority has been delegated to the Corporate Director for Resources, in consultation with the relevant Executive Member and Directors, to make minor or technical in-year adjustments to fees and charges.

The Corporate Director of Homes and Neighbourhoods, in consultation with the Section 151 officer, has been delegated authority to approve the final ICCS fees and charges on behalf of Islington Council, subject to any changes falling within delegated limits. ICCS1 is the council's care service.
