Lewisham Council has awarded 11 contracts to existing providers for residential rehabilitation and day programmes aimed at individuals struggling with substance misuse.

The decision was made during a Mayor and Cabinet meeting on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. Councillor Paul Bell, Cabinet Member for Health, Wellbeing and Adult Social Care, presented the report, seeking approval for officers to award these contracts.

These services are crucial for supporting people with drug and alcohol dependencies, offering specialist rehabilitation and ongoing support through day programmes. The re-procurement ensures the continuation of these vital services within the borough.
