Islington Council's Employment and Appointments Committee has approved a shortlist of candidates for the crucial role of Corporate Director of Resources, a position integral to the council's strategic objectives.
The decision was made during a meeting held on Monday, March 9, 2026. The Corporate Director of Resources will be a key member of the council's Senior Leadership Team and will have a key role in supporting, enabling and monitoring the delivery of the Islington Together 2030 Plan,

The advertised salary range for the post is between £132,823 and £159,330, with the financial implications covered by existing budgets.
An Equalities Impact Assessment Screening was completed, and a full assessment was deemed unnecessary due to established recruitment procedures.
Interviews for the shortlisted candidates are scheduled to take place on March 19, 2026.
