Havering Council has unanimously voted to strengthen its provisions for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) services. The decision was made during a full council meeting on Wednesday, March 18, 2026.
A motion put forward by the Labour Group, calling for a cross-party commitment to bolster SEND provisions and ensure continuity across administrations, was carried with 31 votes in favour and zero against, with one abstention.
