The Sutton Pension Fund has achieved an unmodified audit opinion on its 2024-25 accounts, a positive outcome attributed to the diligent work of the fund's team. This was announced at a Pension Board meeting on Thursday, 19 March 2026.

Catherine Gray, Head of Pensions Investments and Treasury, presented the final accounts, noting they were largely consistent with the draft versions shared in September. The primary amendment involved a post-balance sheet event concerning the Invesco property fund, which is currently undergoing liquidation due to redemption requests. This liquidation process led to a revaluation of the fund's assets. A significant issue identified was a property defect related to fire safety standards, necessitating remedial works and a capital injection, which in turn resulted in a reduction of the property's value.
