The newly created roles, confirmed during the Council's annual meeting on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, are for Anti-knife crime, Disabilities, Veterans, and Wildlife.
Councillor Terry Brown has been appointed as the Member Champion for Anti-knife crime. Councillor Della Morrison will serve as the Member Champion for Disabilities, and Councillor Luke Barry will take on the role of Member Champion for Veterans.
